Santiago, Chile - bomb explodes in a bank, a few hundred meters from the presidential residence

A bomb partially destroyed the windows of Banco Estado, the intersection of Avenida Las Condes and Calle San Damián, in the eastern city of Santiago.
The Carabineros reported that the bomb was placed behind a pillar of the entrance of the bank, completely destroying eight windows and cracking another 9.
The bomb disposal BEPG and forensic Laboratorio de Carabineros de Criminalistics (Labocar) are working on site to collect evidence and fingerprints on the constitutionof the device.
Until now nobody has claimed this attack.
The residence of the president, Piñera, is located just 700 metres from the explosion.
