January 2, 2011 - The two fixed speed cameras installed on the A36 in Belfort were damaged during the night of Saint-Sylvestre. The first is installed at the level of Danjoutin and the second at that of Belfort.
For the first, the method of destruction is a classic since it was destroyed by a fire started with tires. In contrast the method of the second is unusual. Indeed, to make the radar inoperative, acid was poured on the power electronic device.
As for every radar damage, a police investigation is underway to try to identify the perpetrators of these acts of vandalism.
