11 July, 2010 - In the early hours of Saturday around 30 cars were destroyed or badly damaged, the cause was apparently arson. Arson attacks on cars has been a growing problem in Hamburg for two years.
On the night of Saturday unknown persons in Hamburg set fire to a car train with cars intended for sale. As the fire service told the news agency dapD, about 30 cars burned or were damaged by the fire. Other reports said that up to 37 VW Golf had been greatly damaged by fire in Hamburg.
