Update on the arrests in Athens, Greece 5/12
Big turnaround by the balistic reports. – The guns are not connected with 'terrorist' attacks.
The first balistic reports are completed on the guns in the safehouses.
They have not been used in 'terrorist' attacks. Were not used in attacks of urban guerilla war, that were found in Nea Smirni and in Piraeus, according to the until now results of the balistic examinations, in the laboratories of the criminological service. Meanwhile the Police continue to interrogate the nine individuals that, according to the statements and leaks of the antiterrorist police but also the ministry of Protection of the Citizen, are alleged to be connected with the activities of the armed organisation “Sect of Revolutionaries”.
NOTHING HAS FINISHED!
EVERYTHING CONTINUES!! SOLIDARITY IS OUR WEAPON!!
A LETTER FROM THE LAWYER OF ONE OF THE ARRESTED
What certainty until now has been dislocated is the procedural right of the detainees and their possibility of communication with relatives and lawyers. The absolute prohibition of elementary rights while its been almost 24 hours since their arrest as well as the refusal to confirm the names of the arrested touches the limits of snatching. The scorn is completed with the usual method of selected leaks and the communication manipulation of common opinion.
And if these happen with the cover of the District Attorney's office the coincidence of repression mechanisms not in protection, but in the catalysis of the legal and constitutional order is confirmed.
One day before the completion of two years since the murder of Alexis Grigoropoulos and while the entire society finds itself in unrest and prepares for mobilisations the guilty State has an obvious need to redeem itslelf, to present successes and especially to legalise the autarchy that it is preparing for tomorrow's anniversary.
No tolerance! No political and communication expediency above rights and liberties!
