A few thousands of people from Liège were prived of cable television after an act of sabotage in the company. Amplifiers were disconnected and the emergency batteries didn't last long. For months there has been social tension in the company, the workers are demanding more pay. In May, the workers went on a three-week strike, followed by a wild strike by a part of the workers. The morning of the sabotage, negociations took place between the bosses and the union. The union said it condemns such actions.
